The world can be a tough place for wild kittens - to defend themselves, hunt for themselves, face the hard conditions of life alone. Not everyone gets the same start in life, but that doesn't mean that they don't deserve a real chance. That's when we come in - kind humans who want to help. Neither one of the cute bobcat kittens in this story would have been able to survive in the wild on its own, but luckily, they were found in time, and their caretakers realized that their best chance is with each other.
One of the bobcat kittens was kept as a pet illegally and rescued. The other bobcat kitten was found sick and injured and rescued. And when paired together, the two of them formed an instant bond, a friendship that not only eased their loneliness after their already-tough short lives but also allowed them to sharpen their instincts and prepare them for release back into the wild.
