Cats are independent creatures. They don't like help, they don't want help. Even our domesticated cats, whenever they get their claws stuck in our couch and require assistance, make sure to yell at us and let us know that they are displeased with us helping them when we do it. Cats don't want our help, but sometimes, they need it. If you hear a cat crying out for help, that is happening for a reason - an important one. Because cats don't just do that.
Now, we know that most people would still ignore a kitten crying out for help, they would still go on with their day, hoping that someone else would help them. But that's not all. Some people stop and do something. And when this couple heard this tiny kitty asking for help, they did the right thing, and they gave her the help that she needed. And thank goodness that they did, because when they found out that the reason she was there was most likely because she was trapped and released there as hunting practice for a bunch of dogs… they knew that they most than just rescued her. They saved her life.
