We here at I Can Has Cheezburger believe in second chances. You never know what someone could be going through when you meet them, and sometimes, kitties (and hoomans) just need the right environment to help them feel purrfectly safe. That's why we always take what shelters say about their cats with a grain of salt - because we don't know many cats that actually show their true colors while living there. Imagine how stressful it must be to be in a cage all day, surrounded by cats you don't know. To us, that sounds like heaven, but to another cat, that might be their worst nightmare.
So when this kind purrson took a chance by adopting this long-standing shelter cat who was labeled as "extremely aggressive," we had a feeling it was going to work out for the best.
