Sometimes, the Cat Distribution System takes its time. A stray will appear in our lives, steal our hearts, and yet circumstances make it impossible to scoop them up and bring them home right away. Oh, there's nothing sweeter than seeing a cat who once braved the streets stretch out in the comfort of a forever home.
That's exactly what happened with Sunny. For three years, his human looked out for him - feeding him, patching him up after street fights, loving him from just outside the doorway. They couldn't take him in before, but when the move came, so did the chance to say: "Okay, it's time". Sunny walked through that door, paw sprain and all, and never looked back. The CDS may take the scenic route, but it always delivers.
