We actually remember covering this story about a year ago. The backstory is quite simple, actually: she knew 'Rosie' as her neighbor's outdoor cat because Rosie would sleep on his porch every night, even just outside his door. One day, she walked by to say hi to Rosie, and she saw that Rosie was now a mom! She gave birth to six healthy kittens, and upon seeing this meowracle, she knew that they couldn't live outdoors anymore. She confronted her neighbor, only to learn that Rosie wasn't his cat at all! So, she took them, and that was where our story ended. But now, we've got the most purrfectly wholesome update!
We would expect anyone who just rescued a momma cat and her six newborn kittens to care for them until they were able to go to new homes. But no, she kept them all. Her house became a playground for six silly and cute kittens to grow up in with both a cat and hooman mom! These fuzzy feline babies don't know how good they have it. Sure, she might need an abnormal amount of litter boxes, but her home is filled with even more feline love, and that, dear fam, is priceless.
