If there's one thing we can't pawssibly resist, it's the sound of a cat in need. Please, don't call us superheroes; we just love cats that much. Our partner knows that if we're out somewhere and see a cat that needs a home, we're taking it to ours, no matter what we have to do to save them. Even if it means uprooting a storm drain with a pickup truck to save them. That's what happened in our story today, where after three days of meowing for help, a cat lover took this kitten's life into her own hands and rallied the community to save them.
The kitten had been stuck down there for goodness knows how long, and after many attempts to call the unresponsive animal control or the police, they did it themselves. They removed the storm drain and rescued the starving kitty, who was quite sick from drinking unhealthy water while trapped below. But, after saving them, the cat lover said yes to a lifetime together with him, healing his body, his appetite, and his heart in the process.
We're absolutely sure this cat is going to have a purrfectly pawesome life, starting now. But, let's not wait three days before saving a baby kitten next time? If you hear a cat in trouble, or see one, do something! It may be just a meowment in your life, but it will change theirs furrever.
