Lion cub born with a rare disorder and cannot be released into the wild is paired with a tiny dachshund he instantly bonds with; the two get separated as the lion grows, but his heartbreak leads caretakers to reunite them

As much as we disagree when people say that "cats are not friendly", we can still admit that it takes time to win over some cats. They have barriers, they have their walls up, they're strong and independent and proud of it. So, it takes time and effort to break through all of that and win over their hearts. And there are only few creatures that purrsistent. Humans, of course, are one of them. And then, there are dogs.

Yes, "cats and dogs don't get along". We've heard that a million times before, but it's not true. Cats and dogs can be best friends, and most often, we think that it is because dogs have the tenacity to not quit until they win the cats over. And it's true for all cats, not just house cats. It's why shy cheetahs get paired with Golden Retrievers in zoos - to help them come out of their shells. It's why when these Bengal tiger cubs were abandoned by their mother, the cubs were paired with a dog who helped raise them. And it's why the lion in this video because such good friends with this dachshund.
