Some people just don't know they're about to adopt a cat. They might be pure souls who plan to foster a cat in need - and that is seriously admirable - but in some instances, the Cat Distribution System has other plans for you. And yes, it'll enact them in a way that'll make you think it was your idea all along. And then, oops, you have a cat now. You might not know how it happened, but be sure of one thing - someone, somewhere, in the CDS, is sitting and grinning from ear to ear. They managed another successful adoption for a cat in need.
And, honestly? We love hearing about a successful felien foster fail. Because it's not really a failure. Every foster failure is a successful adoption. It's a cat gaining the warmth of a home, the safety of a hug, and the love of a family. And every cat deserves that - especially now, that the weather outside is treacherous. Every cat deserves a home.
Luckily for this one little fluffball, she was seen by this one empathetic woman who thought the exact same thing. But the adorable foster fail that happened to her is what we all hoped for. And definitely what the CDS planned for all along. They seriously work in such meowsterious ways.
