It's not like any other good mood you experience. Sure, you can be happy, cheerful, joyful even - but there's nothing like the meowing good mood of a sassy cat who enters the room knowing they're about to receive treats. We thought we were happy in our lunch break, catching up and eating good food, enjoying the good company - but then the cat came into the kitchen, tail all perked up, and he went, "Meowwwww!" Because he knows we know it means "give me the treats now I'm extremely cute".
We gave him the treats. If it wasn't obvious… What cat pawrent could resist their cat meowing like they own the place? They can't. And also, cats own the place. In every place they are. It doesn't really matter if they actually own the place… because they do. It's the same logic of "If I fits, I sits". They don't need to actually fit… because they'll fit.
