Cats are smarter than they make us think they are. That is something that we have learned the hard way over our time as cat owners. We did not grow up with cats in the house. We did not know. We were not warned of just how mischievous and cunning they are. We learned that when our cats started stealing our socks and hiding them in random places. We learned that when our cats decided the best place to nap is right on our puzzle, because it just gets the biggest reaction from us. We learned that when we realized that our cats zoom across our faces in the middle of the night not on accident, but because they know that it will wake us up and increase their chances of being fed in the middle of the night.
