Big cats and house cats are all just… cats. And that is especially true for kittens. That is what this story has taught us, really. When you look at a kitten, sometimes, it's a little hard to tell whether said kitten is going to grow up into a silly house cat or into a meowgestic wild cat. Because they're all kind of the same when they are younger - just as silly, just as clumsy, with the exact same meownnerisms. It's no surprise then that sometimes… people trying to do the right thing just get it wrong.
We've seen it countless times at this point - people accidentally rescuing Norwegian Forest cats, accidentally adopting Siberian cats, accidentally raising puma cubs, and, what seems to be the most common one of this uncommon bunch, people accidentally rescuing bobcat kittens. All of these people were trying to save the abandoned cats, thinking that they were just regular kitties that they could adopt and live with, happily ever after. And all of them got the surprise of their lives when they realized that they have something special in their homes. This story, in that sense, is no different. And no less purrfectly adorable.
